Hi everyone,
I have always had this nagging problem where the selected midi track in sequencer blocks incoming midi to that tracks channel, when I change the track select to other track it's channel gets blocked. With channel I mean that the midi does not go to any track with that midi channel selected. Does anyone have any idea what might cause this?
Keyboard channel blocks incoming midi in seq.

Anyone?
Please could someone try this, in Sequencer mode just record something to a DAW or external sequencer and try to play it back in the same channel you recorded it. Then if it does not play, change the selected midi track.
The reason I find this behavior annoying is that while working with my DAW I have to constantly switch the selected track.

Hi Przemm,
No I use Sonar 7, interesting if this proves to be a DAW problem, I had not thought of that. But what could cause this, do these programs really send the data differently?
I have always used a configuration where my synths are Local On and DAW has the Thru Off. Could this cause the problem, I'm not at my studio at the moment so I can't try this out. I also understand that this is not the norm any more, could someone point out why the (Local Off, Thru On) is the suggested configuration as I find it cumbersome?
