sampling rotatory speaker effect

Hi

I have sampled a lead sound with rotatory speaker effect.
Then i created a multisample with it.

My problem is - when i click C2 sounds perfect but as press the higher note D2 E2..C3, the effect tempo is increased.

Can i have same tempo while i change note without sampling individual note.
Something like tempo lock-pitch change.
Coz when i play C6 or higher note, the rotation speed is too high.

Thanks.

smstome,

I would suggest sampling your lead sound without the rotary speaker effect. Then use the rotary effect on the Extreme. This way, you have the sound you want and you have more control over the rotary effect.

Also, I don't know of a way to sample a rotary speaker...as it makes no sound on it's own. What I mean is your are playing a lead sound...and using the rotary speaker...and there isn't a good way to extract the effect itself, independent of the sound going into it. If that makes any sense.

Additionally, the big effect of the rotary speaker is turning it off and on. You won't be able to recreate this properly by sampling, as each note will not be starting with the speaker going the same speed.

Also, when sampling...try sampling every third semi-tone. For example:

C, Eb, F#, A (repeat for every octave)

Now load the samples and assign the same sample to the semi-tone below and above your sample. This way...your sample is only being stretched one semi-tone...and you will have a very accurate replication of the original sound.

I hope this helps,
