can anyone help please I would love to replicate the organ sound that plays the intro 1 in the Jaz 2 section, page 2, called "show time".
I'm sure it's in there somewhere but I suspect it is a combination of several of the organ sounds and I am not that experienced to know which they are and if they have to be "tweaked" in any way. Westmoors.

Hi Westmoors
I would love to help you here but I am somewhat confused.
On my PA1XPro, "Show time" style is on
page 1 of Jazz 2 and has absolutely
no organ sounds at all in "Intro 1".
Have I misunderstood something here?
Cheers
Pete

DEFINITION OF CRAZINESS "Crazy" stands for the human spirit of transcending oneself. It stands for the single-minded pursuit of dreams. It stands for the total devotion to your work. It stands for the passion of commitment to reach the goal. Once you have this craziness, you can achieve anything you want. Let alone learning English!

Hello Micky,
I noticed the last dozen posts from you on this forum have all been identical, posted on various threads, all exactly like the one above. Could you please explain your meaning and purpose in a little more detail, and especially elaborate on why posting the word "great" on this thread was appropriate?

Hey Rob
I think his purpose is to advertise WoW poWer levelling. Which is in his Signature. World of Warcraft (game if you didnt know), power levelling services. There have been various cases like this, trolls creating accounts on as many forums as they can and post blasphemy such as this in order to advertise something.
Just my opinion.

Thanks, E.
He was recognised as a spammer and Sharp has deleted his account and all messages.
It was obvious - 20 identical posts all with the same content.

Sorry everybody, first the delay because my log in has been refusing to work for a while and of course I am totally wrong about the intro ,it is Jaz 1 page 1 intro 1 Theatre Swing that has the fabulous organ intro, (well I think so because it reminds me of my young days in the Tower Ballroom ) but how I got the loacation wrong I do not know other than my old age of 76. Many thanks to all who have pitched in and my apologies for the confusion. Can this sound be created on the PA1x (not the pro mdel ?) regards westmoors.

Hi westmoors
it is Jaz 1 page 1 intro 1 Theatre Swing
would still like to help you but I have no "Theatre swing" on my PA1Xpro or anything like it in Jazz 1, Page 1 - is this a style you have installed separately at some stage?
Can you please confirm that you have a PA1X (or PA1XPro) and you are referring to the standard default styles from the latest Resources (3.00)
Thanks
Pete

Aha - found it!!!
This is not a standard default PA1X style, however, the Intro1 of "Theatre Swing" uses SOUND "Organ > Page 5 > Church Pipes".
Hope this is the sound you are wanting....
Cheers

( once again) Thanks Karmathenever for your help, and of course all the others that have replied. I may have a hybrid unit, I changing from 2.52 O.S to 3.01 and as recommended I also downloaded the musical rescources discs for the new operating system ,then I loaded the O.S.3 OK but when running the musical discs I got as far as disc 4 and it all stopped, after downloading a second set and numerous attempts to install I gave up., so I am not sure what has happened. The styles do not seem to have changed so I decided to leave well alone, you can run O.S 3 with the older musical versions I believe. One other reason I decided not to start again is that I had by this time changed many STS's in the style banks to my own preferences and did not want to lose them., Korg UK could not tell me if they would save !
But getting back to that "sound" thanks yes that's near to it, but perhaps I am expecting too much for a keyboard to replicate a Wurlitzer !
In passing I was a yamaha organ devotee for many years and had several EL models up th their last the 900, a great organ but the rhythm unit was never changed from the basic one first fitted and very poor when compared to other makes of organ, so I used expanders for accompanyments and one was a Korg 3i which persuaded me to change to a Korg, if only yamaha had updated their rhythm unit they would still be selling the EL's instead of discontinuing building them ! Sorry if I sound like a "winging pom" ! thanks again to all who pitched in. westmoors.

I was an Electone player too! Still loving it! If you are looking for great organ sounds, you should be looking at the Yamaha AR series not the EL. If you like sequencing and voice editing, I think the EL is great. By the way, the EL-900 has been replace by StageA which is a hybrid of the EL and Tyros.

Hi Phunky, thanks to you and also others that had an input on this, I finally gave in and swopped the PA1X for the Yamaha AR 100, and of course all those lovely noises are in there ! I still have a bit of a "beef " about the rhythm section, it's far better than the El series but not a patch on the PA1X, it's a pity the rhythm section in that can't be put into the AR, what a wonderfull beast that would make.
However I do have a Korg i5M module and this does almost as good for rhythms, I am now trying to fing if anyone has got any music style disks in particular the KSS D 13,14 & 15 which I believe will work in the i5m.
