I would like to use the kaoss pad 3 to pimp up my performance on edrums.
Now I ask myself how I could contol it. I would like to switch it on and off during my drumplay, to add effect only to cirtain phrases.
The Alesis Control pad seems to be a good solution. Now I have some questions about midi-control with this combination:
1.) Do you think, I could switch the effect on and off using the control pad? I thought maybe I could use a "blank" preset for the unprocessed material and other presets for the processed material.
2.) When switching presets, can I switch lets say from "User 1" directly to "User 3", or can you change presets only step by step?
3.) Or is there a better way to control the kaoss pad during drumplay?
Actually, a food switch to switch it on and off at the "Hold" position would be enough for me, the rest I could do manually. But I dont know of any small MIDI-Footswitches... maybe you know.
4.) A question beside is: do you think, the auto - bmp is good enough to follow my drumplay?
