88 keyboard case

Post by jimmiez »

I did a search and found keyboard cases for the 76 oasys but I am looking for a case for the 88. The only ones I found on line run $600 to $700. Basically the case would be for occasional moves....any suggestions...thanks

Many have spoken about this before and you have basically to think about this... $8000 keyboard + well built (not cheap) hard case = peace of mind even if you pack it once a year. That's priceless. I spent $700 and if I use the case once I'll be lucky. Consider it an investment.

You have to define the occasional move…
I have a gator case for my O 88 … when I occasionally move, it is by me in my vehicle and I pack stuff on top of it with no worries
google gator cases…

If you're occasionally playing a gig where there are road crews or airlines in involved , then only an ATA anvil style case will do, IMHO

I have both… HTH - Schweats

Don't rule out SKB. I have 2 and they have never let me down during LOTS of local transport.

Anvil certainly makes great cases but they charge for the name too. There's also another manufacturer that makes cases like Anvil but are less expensive, I seem to remember the name starts with a C.

You're thinking Calzone, maybe? (I think they actually own Anvil, or vice versa). I'm happy with my Calzone case for my 76-key Oasys, it's very sturdy & it was also more reasonably priced than some other options.
