Korg USB-MIDI Driver Conflict

Hi , I'm the owner of a Kontrol49 which I may add has worked fantastically the whole time I've been using it , but I recently bought a KP3 and I can't for the life of me get the USB-MIDI function to work. Is there some kind of driver conflict between the ones that came with the Kontrol49 and the ones that you need for the KP3? If so , does anyone know of a resolution or work around for this problem , I can't even use the librarian for the KP3 which kinda defeats the purpose of even buying the thing.

My OS is Windows Vista and I've been considering rolling back to XP but before doing something so drastic I'd like to know if I'm just missing something or if this a known issue

thnx

Have u installed the last kp3 firmware? Its in Korg's site.

After you install the korg midi usb driver, you have to execute the "Install Korg midi usb device" app in order to install correctly the kp3.

If not, try to remove the korg midi usb driver and install it again for both things.
