Questions: 32 beat loops & Playing over samples

Hey all.

I need to record a 32 beat loop.
Can it be done?
Is there a way to join 2 16 beat loops together?

I want to play live over a loop using an effect, say Mod3.
How do I get the effect ONLY on what is coming in from the mic?
Currently Mod3 affects both the live feed (from the mic) AND the loop..

Any and all suggestions welcome !

Cheers,
Jaindvar.

and you cant record a 32 beat loop, max is 16. but form 16 is good, i did some jamming with a vintage organ and the kaoss pad sampling myself and it was really fun.

if your 32 bar loop is 146bpm or higher then you can record it at half tempo to get the entire 32 bars

and split is right

get another kp3 or a minikp

Thanks Zalo,I thought of that...
the bpm is 'round 110 so that isn't gonna work.

program the 2 notes on a midi track to trigger 4 bars of sample a then 4 bars of sample B?
or play the samples with your toes(i used to do that since i had a guitar to play)
