changing multisamples in Tone Adjust

Post by Arend Groot »

In Prog/Combi/Seq mode the MS/WS/DKit select, lets you select a new multisample or wavesequence/drumkit, I was aware of that...

But what I didn't realise was the (simple) result I achieved last night.

Play with your both hands and hold on the notes with your left hand for example, while changing to another multisample. When you play on top with your right hand you hear both multisamples, the original timbre(left hand) and the new one. You can apply this in different ways of course.

You can record it in sequence mode with the same results after playing back. 8)

With this feature you can accomplish variations in sounds very quickly.
How could I miss this way of using it

You can also accomplish similar results, but with more fine control of Multisample selection, by manually modulating a Wave Sequence with Run turned off (so that it only plays a single Multisample).

Have fun!

Thanks for the tip, I remember that one from Mike's dvd, but never tried it with the sequencer and that's what I am going to do
