Our sound guy recorded us last night on his laptop, using a firewire connection from his Makie Mixer, and the latest version of Tracktion.
I played the horns, and organ, on my TR-61.
Here's what he sent me this morning.

Hey, this recording really rocks it. Wow, big clean sound here. This is a great demo of what you guys are doing. Love it. I'm still amazed that good recordings can be made live, there are so many variables and there's no re-takes. I love it the best when the horns kick in. Great sound there. The bass is really driving this too. The whole thing is just fantastic, I would be dancing right in front to this jammer.

Yeah, I`d be right up in that front spot as well, dancin` up a storm to this dandy tune. Great live mix.....vox are spot on backed up by a crankin` band. Kudos all around Stephen!

I like this tune. Your band has got some fire brewing there my friend. I am really amazed at the quality of the recording. I never had anyone do justice to our bands trying to record us live when I used to play. Kudos to your engineer.

Have you ever played in the Quad Cities? If you haven't you should, there are plenty of nice venues where you could rock the house.
