I didn't know you were getting one. Now I'm scared. Because with your karma background, you're going to be light years ahead of me in that department. I'm trying to pull some karma into my October tune and it's a real head scratcher in sequence mode. In combi it's a blast to play around with but to sequence you really need to know your stuff. So far I've managed a few arp type bass lines and that's it. I know karma is capable of doing much much more. Hey, are you going to get the dvd tutorial? It is really helpful. Oh, I forgot to ask, why didn't you get the next size up? That's the one I have, I need all the keys for my keyboard playing.

Yes but unbeknown to most, Korg products are temporal anomalies . . . . very dangerous to keep one inside another :-)

DrWho,

It must be that "huge spacious sound that is just bursting to get out" ... you and I should have been advertising copy writers :-)

It's a long story, but it just sort of happened to turn out that since the Roland GW-7 didn't cut it for me, I bit the bullit, and plopped down the two grand for the M3-61.
I'm a guitar player, so keyboards are more of a necessity, for me to compose, and play in the band, and although I love it, I'm primarily a "part" player, so I may use my left hand now and then for a bass note, otherwise I'm strictly a right hand keyboard player, hence the 61.

I spent an hour playing around with the Demo M3, at Guitar Center, and I was getting around just fine, so I doubt that I'll need the DVD, although that doesn't mean I won't buy one.
:D

Although I have ample studio space, 23'X15', it is getting a little crowded, mostly though, due to the fact that the band practices here, so there's drums, PA, bass, keyboards, 3 guitars, and amps, and lots of keyboards.
Oh, not to mention 6 microphones on stands.
:?
Congrats Stephen :)
Thanks Simon.
