Happy Birthday!

Hi!

Just wanted to share with you this music-fun I did saturday...
It was Marco's birthday (he's a good a friend of mine, a great choir conductor); I hadn't got the opportunity to see him for his birthday to give him any present, so I decided to send him a musical present

That's the italian version of "Happy birthday to you", arranged recorded, mixed and masterded in 15 minutes...I sang it while sitting on the chair, holding the Rode NT1-A in my hands with no pop-shield...you can understand that's nearly an experiment, but I enjoyed it a lot, and Marco liked it, too, so I'm happy!

Nice voice Diego!

Very nice, especially for a 15 minute piece of work.

Thanks a lot Stephen!
Yeah, it really takes me 15 minutes from the arrangment to the final mp3!
I recorded it really in a poor way, sometimes out of tune (i.e. the very second note  ), singin while sitting on the chair with the mic (condenser NT1-A) in my hands, no pop-shield, no vocal eq...nothing!
I just putted a little delay and reverb on the lead...nothing else.

Thanks a lot, it was funny for me!

Regards

I'm a big fan or vocal/choral music. I liked this. Do you have anything better though?

It's great. I love this. Like a nice acapella, or barbershop quartet style. Nice sound.

Hi!

Thanks a lot for your comment.
I'm glad you liked it!
What you mean when you say "Do you have anything better"?

I just singed the female parts in my own vocal range, so the sound seems to be a little too muddy...I'm not good on falsetto vocal, but the best way to sing that arrangment should be with a male vocal group, two voices with falsetto, and the bass should be much more deeper...which can be acheived with a little better bass treatment...but hey it took me 15/20 minutes, so I'm happy the way it is :)

Thanks a lot!
