Combi-categories, where are they gone?

I don't know since when, but all categories in the combis are gone. I just have blue empty latches and 1 inscription : All. (The banks are all correct and named)
I reinstalled the factory setup of the banks I-A to I-D, but that doesn't change it.
On the main window, the categories are only numbered, like IV, or XI, but no name.
Is that normal? How is it with yours?
Thanks for feedback and info

Did you recently load Global data from another Oasys user ?
Go to Global mode and look at the Combi Category tab on the Category page, and tell us what you see there. Do you see the default Categories like Keyboard, Organ, World and so on ?
If you don't, you might want to consider loading a back up of your Global settings or the Factory settings on the HD.

Thanks Daz for the info & reply. Never looked at this Global Category until now!
But in fact the Combis are empty. I will try with a reset, but I need some of these features like the External Modes etc...
These might get lost, no?
Anyway I will help myself now. Thanks

I reloaded the Global and now the categories are there again. SO thanks, Daz, for the hint. I copied by hand the external Setups and now things are OK again.

N:B: I still cannot understand people who do not buy an Oasys or at least an M3, but invest so much money in other synths. I was again listening to some keyboards like Roland etc... in the music-shop, and everytime it strikes me that the sound is so bad compared to the sounds I'm used to now from the Oasys. After 2, almost 3 years one gets spoiled by that quality!

Glad to hear it ... good work.

One certainly does

I also agree that the Oasys and M3 sound quite a lot better than many other contemporary pieces. The synth engine designers and the sound designers at Korg are leading the way. I think there is some scope for usability and multi-sample improvements, but the M3XP has shown that Korg are working on those things too.
