FWIW for those of you who follow Rudess, I was doing some surfing over the net, and I found this.

Its seems that he is no longer using the OASYS in his live shows.
Well that settles it. Guess I'll sell my O. Actually, not really.
The words "So what" come to mind...

Yes, absolutely. I spoke to him and told him about the thread and how cool it would be if he stopped by to say hello. So he did. For real.

Jerry
That's cool indeed!!!!

jaylaca,

Just to make sure you understand what has been said before, Rudess did post here that he has not given up the Oasys on the road. Apparently someone misunderstood some comments in print and created the false impression that he had gone to the fantom instead.

He made it clear that the Oasys will remain his main piece on the road.

jerrythek wrote:I think you need to clarify your 'research" - what tour? Jordan does many projects and uses a variety of gear in his music, but he has not abandoned the OASYS, and we just are making plans for him to perform at our NAMM booth using it etc. So perhaps you are quoting from some smaller, mini-tour he did, perhaps with Rod?

Something else?

Regards,

Jerry

 Well it looks like he will be spending more time at the Roland booth than the KORG one playing the new Roland.

"Thursday, January 16, 2009". :?

Anyway, as NAMM is 4 days long, I am sure Jordan will be playing at the Korg booth as well.

Fun !

or the new V-Synth GT 2.0 (tweak up of original GT)

That new AX-Synth looks very cool.
Roland obviously are aware of the activities on the second hand market for these. Some of the prices people have been getting on e-Bay for those 80's classics have been insane.

Nice one Roland... two thumbs up.

Indeed - absolute crazy prices for the old AX. And if I read that correctly the new one offers a D-Beam, too?

Did anyone attend any of these events ? Any hints as to what we have to look forward to ?

Thanks !

Vadim wrote:really stupid thing in Fantom-G: is the ability to connect a mouse.(probably the stupidest thing in the whole workstation history)

it is completely the opposite of what musicians/producers etc.. need.
But thats just your opinion, to me its stupid not having it.

Ok, I am going to ask the question again.

Did anyone attend one of the Korg presentations when Jordan Rudess performed?

Which Korg products did he perform with?

Rick
