Connecting to Computer?

Post by Sir TJ »

Hey all.

A little help here, if you would. I have a Korg TR Music Workstation and I'm trying to connect it to my computer so that I may use it as a Midi controller through FL Studio. I'm not very Tech-Savvy AT ALL, so could any one of you kind people tell me how I can about doing this? What will I need? I'm trying to play a SoundFont sample through FL Studio with my Korg TR as the controller.

Thanks!

Hello,

All you need is a MIDI interface and a MIDI cable. You plug the MIDI interface to the computer (through USB), then the MIDI cable from the "MIDI OUT" of the Triton and the "MIDI IN" of the MIDI interface.

Well it's more simple than that, the TR has already a usb connection in the back by the card slot so you can use an ordinary printer usb cable to connect it to a computer and on korg site you have the drivers. I'm not sure for the settings on the FL.
