Oasys Cubase Generic Remote

Hi friends,
In order to relieve a little of that blues that is going on in the Korg Forums I have developed a remote controler for Cubase. It is very practical and useful and can be adapted easily to your own needs and likes.
It is build on the External setup in tje Oasys and on the Generic Remote function in Cubase. You can start, stop, record, rewind etc... your DAW with the Oasys Pads, use the faders, knobs and buttons to do panning, volume, mute, solo, bypass and monitor your Cubase tracks and Mixer.
In fact I developed it because the new Steinberg controler for Cubase is, in my opinion, far to expensive akthough very nice and elegant.
But working with a KB like the Oasys gives us some bonus regarding this remote function.
So you can download this Zip-file. which contains a Global setting with the External setup, a Cubase generic remote file to load into Cubase and a Readme file with all the necessary details for the whole setup.
I hope some of you can use this little extra and will enjoy it.
I hope to get some feedback or maybe also some questions from you.
All the best
JAI JAI

Hey Anashwaran,

I have been wondering for a while how to control Cubase using the Oasys Control Surface.

Thanks for you help. Greatly appreciated!!:)

Nice to hear that.
It is not much but helps really! :D
I tried it out also with Sonar, and it works well also. Only some work to do with the learning function.
But the Oasys file is still valid. Once you have it in your Global setup, you can use it anywhere.
It could well be the same for Logic and other programs, also on the Mac. If your DAW supports remote controlers, there should be no problem adapting this feature to it.
And you can write your own setups inside of the Global settings. There is space enough! (if we would have so much empty space in combis and programs! )
Great to have some feedback.
Thanks
Anashwaran

Thank you Daz.
I believe that today all major DAW's have a kind of Generic remote possibilty, so it is just a matter of adapting the CC's to the DAW. So you can use the External 1+2 on the Oasys from this little program
