program/bpm nob not responding ? help

just got a new korg kp3 was playing around with it and then the program/bmp button stopped working i can press it down and it changes from program to bmp and back but when i turn it i cant change effects or change the bmp. can anyone help me have i pressed something wrong or is it just faulty.
