connection help!

Hi, i recently purchased the kaossilator and mini-kp, and am wondering what i need to hook this up to my pc to record my samples to mixcraft/reason/garageband or whatever program im using....thanks in advance!

i dont know about the other programs but you cant do it in reason directly. you must record your loops in other programs (eg. audacity) and use recycle to convert them for reason use. to record you'll need a stereo RCA to whatever jack your soundcard accepts for line in connection. to have decent quality you will need at least a soundcard with RCA inputs.

If you have got a mac you can record and mess about with your sounds in Garageband. If you want to do more complex sound file manipulation you can use the (free) Audacity. Most Macs have a line in jack which will be perfectly fine for starting with. Go to System preferences and under sound select line in for input.
The recording quality will be quite good but for higher quality you may eventually want to buy an audio interface to plug into your USB or firewire ports, as a bonus most of these come with 'lite' versions of DAWs such as Ableton Live.
