So I've upgraded to 1.3.3 (and activated mod-7 and the legacy thingie and enjoying!!!), loaded all sorts of programs in and have no more space to store stuff (I really don't know why sometimes I can't save a program in some banks). Anyway, is it possible to store just a single program on the hard disk?
I searched the latest manuals for the keyword 'save' but after 15 minutes I can't seem to connect the dots.
Best,
Paul
Can I save just a single program to hard disk?

I bought my Oasys in 07 (used), and it had some songs on the hard drive. I noticed some songs had PCG's. Maybe if one makes a song with a program then that individual PCG could be saved along with the song?

as far as I know you can only save a whole bank of instruments. I know you can load a single instrument but i have not been able to save just one PCG.
good luck mate!

I know what you saying Paul. If you go Save PCG and you name it the same as the SNG file than it will be attached, in a sense to the song. so you can load both at the same time. but I still believe that it is a whole bank of PCGs and not just a single Program.doktorfuture wrote:I bought my Oasys in 07 (used), and it had some songs on the hard drive. To my understanding you WRITE a single program/combi and you SAVE a bank. However one bank might consist of just one sound or three or whatever you put there.
You can AUDITION single sounds without loading them (provided they do not use any samples you haven't loaded in your memory) by selecting them in the loading screen - but you do not load it before you load the bank. (Maybe one could load a single sound? Never tried it before. But I'm pretty sure you cannot save a single sound.

I have tried loading a single sound and you can. You can select the exact bank and the exact slot you want to put it in. very useful when you only want one instrument from a whole bank.
