I've just bought a microkorg XL a month ago, and I love it! The effects are awesome, the vocoder is pretty good and it sounds like an analog synth, or a digital if you want it to.

I'm fairly new to music, I've got a nanoKEY to control all my softsynths and stuff, but I don't really intend to go into the business...although I might try some production stuff if I get any free time (I'm 15. Exams - the one word to sum up my life atm)

My rack is...nonexistant. My dad has an old technics PCM digital piano downstairs (doesnt sound as good as the MKXL's one). It has MIDI (just about), so I might hook it up for some multi-sound stuff.

As I say, im just starting out, I've been into synths fora long time, just never bought one, so I'm not totaly new to the idea of it. But if I say something amazingly n00btastic, please tell me!
