No MIDI activity led and resources usage monitoring ?

Hello there,

I've just jumped in the M3-M/EXB-Radias wagon, and having a hard time figuring it out so far, even though I'm not new to digital synths.

For example, it's the only unit that would not respond to my E-MU XBoard 25 keyboard Note On messages unless there's a Philrees MIDI Merge unit in between the E-MU MIDI ouput and M3-M MIDI input !

When facing this, I felt a little confused and blind, so the question is : is there somewhere in the overwhelming user interface a MIDI monitor page to check if and which MIDI events are received all right by the device (Note ON/OFF, CC, SysEx, whatever) ?

Usually, MIDI gear has at least a flashing led or symbol on the LCD when incoming messages are received (my good old WS/SR does). My E-MU XL-7 even has a MIDI Out led.

In the same spirit, is there a resources monitor, to see how many voices are used or left, per channel, realtime ?

My reference is the Roland JV-2080, which has all this, and this is really handy to know what's happening with the unit.

Sorry if this has been adressed before.
I did a search in the manuals and forums, and found next to nothing.

I don't know much about the M3 because I don't have one.

However, you could try recording your input into the sequencer, and see if it picks anything up.
