... How about December 21, 2012 which is supposed to be the end of the world.
Or... how about community based projects ?. There's a very good reason why the Triton Series download section is many times larger than anything ever seen before in the history of KORG keyboards. So we could organise ourselves and start community based projects that build up the number of COMBI sounds we have and lots more.
There's a lot of untapped resources in those synth engines waiting to be heard.

Hooray, another thing to speculate on. When will the universe be discontinued?
I also agree with the rest of your answer. I am not an Oasys power user, but it would be good to get hold of extra programs/combis from those that are.

Universe ? .... COMBI 000 on the KORG M1, that was discontinued years ago.

As soon as I know what's happening with the download section I'll try kick something off. I've been testing a fully automated download/upload system back over on IA and it works very well. The download section will either move over to that system, or it will end up being installed here.
Just need to clarify a few things first before any decision can be made. The goal of the new download section is to allow people to share files instantly with each other and allow for organised events like community based programming.

In my opinion, community based projects don't have to be the reserve of power users and sound designers. That's just one discipline. There are many people here successfully making music and I am sure they must have a wealth of practical tips to share. Those things are, in their own way, worth as much as a great Program or Combi. I am sure everyone has something to contribute from their experience over the last few years. This could be a very useful project in it's own right.
