I've been searching this forum, but have not found my answer.
Since the O is internal 48KHz sample playback, and cannot be changed to 44.1KHz, how can I play Audio CD's properly?
I practice to them often and discovered the O can play audio cd's while I play Programs. Awesome! But the bloody CD's are at the wrong pitch since it's sped up to 48K.
The convenience factor of popping in a CD to practice to is just to compelling to want to rip, resample, make sequence, copy program to combi, copy FX to combi, and try to get it the same as the Program.. just to play to a tune off CD.
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Re: CD Playback
OASYS does sample-rate conversion to play audio CDs at the correct pitch. This happens automatically.Jaylaca wrote:Since the O is internal 48KHz sample playback, and cannot be changed to 44.1KHz, how can I play Audio CD's properly?
I've just confirmed that CDs play at the correct speed & pitch. Can you check again?Jaylaca wrote:I practice to them often and discovered the O can play audio cd's while I play Programs. Awesome! But the bloody CD's are at the wrong pitch since it's sped up to 48K.

the dummy is in
A friend of mine was using my O when I came across this and I didn't realize he had transposed my synth up a 1/2 step. I just assumed it was a sample rate issue.
So now that I put it back, yes, it does play just fine.
Thanks for checking that out. And kudos to whoever created this function. It's truly awesome.
Cheers,
Jason
