Connecting a Korg Kaoss Pad 3 to a Xone:92 + MIDI sync it

Hello you guys,

I've been using my korg Kaoss pad 3 for over a year now and I'm quite happy about it. I use it in my band, and also in Dj Sets as standalone or with ableton live.
For now I have only used the device with a behringer DJX700 mixer or connected to an Alle & Heath GL series PA mixer.
I'm really fed up with de DJX mixer and I'm moving on to a Xone:92, and within a week or 2 I want to do a Dj Set with the Xone and my Kaoss pad.
Does anyone have any remarks on things that I should be aware of combining these 2.
I must admit I am a MIDI NOOB, however I'd like to connect the :92's MIDI out to the KP's MIDI in, and also sync it.
Any ideas how to realize it? I really hope it will be a great deal better than with the DJX700.

I want to add: i know there is a guide available at A&H for the KP2, but i don't quite know how to do the same on my KP3
