Not to be a smart ass but you are aware that by limiting yourself to within 50 miles, your options are almost Zero. It's hard enough finding an excellent one across the country let alone in dumpy Ohio and within 50 miles of where you live.

I live in Ohio(northeast) so don't take offense

If I lived closer I'd offer you mine and just get another one.

Did you have an incident with shipping a keyboard that has turned you sour? I don't blame ya really, the Trex is a heavy beast and I was on pins and needles for the week trek mine made from Cali

if someone here sees this post and lives within 50 miles with a keyboard i am seeking in excellent condition then perhaps i'll get notified. i live in ciny and i had top notch condition extreme i sold here and dealer said it's rare to find in this condition.. and sold it for more than other used extremes. i offered it here on this forum and no one replied until today.

luck may favor me here or on the outskirts. ;)

i've never boughten a keyboard without seeing it first and if it's used i do not trust anyone unless i can test it first unless i know you personaly...also prevents possiable damage and theft etc.

if it's a 100 miles... maybe. just depends where and if i have a reason to go that far...all depends. just would like something close, you know. i'm not driving across the states... some stores get these in monthly here in cincinnati i am told.

Not sour??

I offered you my Extreme? I said if I was closer, as in 249 miles closer.

And I had a bad incident with shipping? Wow you sure are presumptuous  I've bought 3 Korgs off ebay and sold 3 more on ebay in the past 6 years and sorry, all were shipped/received thru Fedex without a hitch 8)

And your stores down in Cincy get them in "monthly" huh? Interesting...

Start trusting people, more often than not you'll get a real gem. The Extreme I got for a grand 3 months ago via a perfect seller on ebay for 7 years is MINT and survived the trek from Cali. But hey, your store gets them in all the time so just wait a couple weeks and you'll be as good as gold

:D

I don't know how big Ciny is but Edmonton AB (about 1 meg) has had no Extremes for a while. I also understand the objections to using eBay (esp for people outside US) but I followed 2 or 3 items this past week , esp a nice-sounding 76 from Florida. It eventually was NOT sold at 1000.
I myself found a nice one in Halifax (about 5000km from where I live) thorough Kijiji for Can$1000 plus shipping $150. I'm happy about that and can hardly wait to get it!

triton ex + radias + pa-50 and others stuff

I live in CT, and have a mint triton extreme 76 that I want $1000 cash for. I would be willing to drive the seven hundred miles to cincy if you are serious. Has pedals cords, original box and Gator case also, stands included, for $100 more I will include a kaoss pad kp-3 if you would like one.
No scratches dents of any damage anywhere, memory is filled and has sd card .
Had to give up playing, had a stroke and the fingers refuse to cooperate so I'm selling all my kbds
Radias for $850, mint...\pa-50 never used $550even an H4 Mike recorder. @$100 send me a line if you are interested, I;ll take pics.
comes with manuals dvds tutorials cords and asst crap

As stated you need to be a bit more trusting or use a good source as say an ebay seller. I'm not putting mine on ebay as I don't want to deal with out of state (outside southern NH, massachusetts) personally. Nothing to do with shipping as I have the original box for it still. Mine's in really good shape, some minor scratches (very minor last I looked) and it's been gigged with quite a bit. Want to come to massachusetts for it? It's the 61 key version, 96mb sampling ram, including hardshell case and X stand (reason for not shipping is no boxes for latter 2 as well). All manuals too.

And my price is within the ebay range I just checked so I don't feel I'm overpricing it ($1100). Works just fine, no broken/sticky keys, touchpad works fine as well.

I would buy the M50 and be done with it.

“It’s more like they squeezed everything I liked about the full-blown Triton Extreme into more contemporary, sweeter-sounding hardware”

I also wanted an extreme until I compared it to the M50. If you don't need sampling or aftertouch, it's a no brainer. Otherwise, I'd get an M3.

It might not be a No Brainer if you had an Extreme in your home for a weekend. The sheer amount of sounds it has makes it almost priceless IMO. When I run thru the M50s voices and come up empty handed, I turn to the Trex and find a plethora of sounds I was initially wanting. In this case, you truly can have both quantity and quality at the same time with the Trex 8)

I adore both so don't bait me into an argument

Same here, unfortunately. :(
I have an M3, but when I'm looking for sounds, I rarely find what my ears are looking for on it, I end up going to the TR, Karma, and sometimes my Mo Rack, but I'm really disappointed in the sound of the M3 overall, and that puzzles me.
One glaring example of this, is my go to brass patch on the TR, it really does the job, and I've gotten several compliments from other musicians, but so far, I've been unable to get close on the M3, I've tried more than once, and I'm fairly good at creating my own patches.
I'm considering trying to trade my M3 for an EX.
