Effecting only certain loops with KP3

Post by YOBREKCALS »

The workaround is to stop the other samples, apply the effect to only the sample you want, then resample the result to a new pad. Now the effect has been recorded as part of the resample.

Another option is to buy another KP3, but that may be a bit too much for you to accept at this point.

It's very common for DJs to have pairs of KP3s, miniKPs, Kaossilators, and other gear. You can do 24 track synth sequencing with 4 DSi with the DS-10 software. Instead of buying multiples of the same thing, I buy one of each. I have a Kaossilator, miniKP, DSi+DS-10, KP3, EMX-1, SP404, SP606, MPC1000, QY100, MRS-8, and that's just part of my live rig.

Wow. I've been live djing for years and used only midi keyboards and ableton :). I have never been a hardware kinda guy, but with the kp3 i'm being swayed.
