You have deleted it from your internal HD? Or just from the sequencer? No back up? If you just deleted the sequencer song slot and have a copy on your internal (or external) HD you can load it anytime from there. If you deleted it from the HD and have no backup perhaps someone from Korg could help? I recommend a consequent backup procedure in any case.

If you pulled the HDD from the OASYS and connected it to a PC then there's a good chance that you can undelete the file. That's a huge amount of effort though for something that is not guaranteed to work and you run a risk of doing something wrong to your OASYS.

Another option might be with Linux Boot disks and accessing the OASYS as a Linux computer. Can't give you any advice on that though because I'm not one of the few who have booted their OASYS into Linux.

Personally, I'd be thinking cut your losses and move on.

I've tried to boot on linux, plugged a usb keyboard and it works fine, but I know nothing about that OS. Anyway, I started it all over again from scratch.

If you did all that, then all you need to do was run a Linux Undeleted program off the memory stick to get the file back.

You should be able to find one on the net somewhere.

I googled it... ran into a"grep" command that would undelete files. I tried to understand how that thing worked, but it was too strange for me. #-o I need a course on linux. If it were MS-DOS though...
Oh well, I got the song back on track anyway.

P.S.: it was funny running all those commands in the linux prompt through the Oasys screen... it reminded me of the good old MS-DOS days...
