I made the mistake loading the operating system software thinking I needed to. Now my M3 will not start up. I was reading there is an internal SD card. Can I remove it load the operating system from my M3 CD on my computer and resolve my problem?

Contact Korg Tech Support. They can tell you what to do.

No need to contact Korg just yet ...

Perform the OS2.0 upgrade again then the OS2.03 upgrade as per the Wiki article here:

http://karma-lab.wikidot.com/korg-m3:ko ... r-firmware

If you can not load OS2.0 then post a private message to Stephen Kay and ask for his help. He has some files released privately by Korg (not on general circulation) that will revert a non-booting system first to OS1.x, then you can do the OS2.0 upgrade afterwards.

Regards,
Rob

Thanx a million

And for the record, the M3 DOES have an internal SD card that you can merely copy the correct files to it and it will boot fine. It's nice not having to worry about a failed ROM upgrade...

I back my OS up after every upgrade just for this purpose...
