Piano Roll Editor - M3 Editor

I'm new to the M3, but I really like the 'Piano Roll" editor for some minor clean up but wish I could use it from my computer. I have the EXB-FW installed now. Should I get some external software to input notes to the M3 sequencer? Do you more experienced guys have some advice? I have a lot of fun playing with the sounds and mixing but I need a more efficient way to load the music.

Any advice would be appreciated.
