this is a vast subject.
i'm probably down to help you but you need to at least tell me what you're trying to do.

keep in mind i've never done this but here's a guess.
i can't tell exactly what's going on with your sound card or how it works, but i'm going to assume you have space to plug in your kp3 ins and outs and your speakers into it at the same time.

right. so if you have an audio track in ableton it will have a drop down menu labeled 'audio from'. you need an audio track, with audio from set to receive audio from your soundcard. i'm pretty sure going into audio effects and double clicking 'external audio effect' will work.

after, you can plug your kp3 into the soundcard and you *should* be able to hear and record any drum loops or synth noises you can make on the kp3 in ableton. if not, make sure the audio is coming from the right source.

then you can use a send / return and change the audio out from master to the appropriate output on your soundcard, set up the audio to go to the send, and you should be ready to go.

i've probably left some stuff out but let me know if that helps.
