its a great idea , really and i am amazed no ones done it yet , even if its 30% in accurate it will save some poeple alot of work , but some will say its not of use as they use presets and little else , others will come on here and say ' i use a cs80 , sound like vangelis and i dont need it ( and then slip on the wifes underwear and jerk off over it no doubt ) , others will say its a good idea as they spent years creating libraries on one synth and then find they want to upgrade to another new synth / range and guess what , they have a hard choice to make , lose patches and work or dont buy the new synth ! the mad bit is the way all korg synths have most of the same pcm waveforms or there is alot of cross reference and yet no backward compatability .Its a good idea , i find korgs typical response defensive , they wont wnat it because it highlights what they should have done from the start ( considered users who might want to upgrade )i think the big issue is so many people just dont program and store large patch libraries and alot use bought libraries .I really hope you create this as it will help people .Ignore the unhelpfull remarks pointing out the odvious and go for it.

I find it difficult to believe that one could draw this interpretation from my comments (which are *mine,* not Korg's).ix studio wrote: .Its a good idea , i find korgs typical response defensive , they wont wnat it because it highlights what they should have done from the start ( considered users who might want to upgrade )

Since I'm probably the only one on this forum who talks about the CS80 - I take you comments to be targeted at me.
I've noticed your posts over the months and you have revealed yourself to be nothing but a negative, obnoxious person. If it was up to me I'd turf you off this forums - but just be sure - your pathetic and petty gripes are not lost on anyone here – it is crystal clear for all to see just what sort of character you are. You have nothing worthwhile to contribute because there’s nothing worthwhile going on in your noggin.
Here’s a suggestion – go do something worthwhile instead of coming on here and firing disgusting remarks at others.
Daz and Sharp – I have to say I’m surprised (and disappointed) that you let ix studio’s last post go unmoderated.
Kevin.

If i checked this forum more i would have said something sooner... this is a WONDERFUL idea. I'm sure it's no secret that i would love to put more 01/W progs on my current keyboard, but I've shied away from it because the program parameters on the two boards are so different and i just don't have the time to learn them. And there are a few triton programs i wanted to load up on my M3 and just never got to copy them over.
I find it 10 times easier to resample the multisamples than tinkering with the program to make it respond the same. If i had a converter that could convert program formats, I'm sure I'd have the entire 01/W sampled for the newer formats sooner or later!
How many people have come onto these forums asking for a program to convert their 5,000,000 banks of Triton programs into M3 format?
