i recently purchased an R3. very good sounding synth! : D
but here's the problem:
when i connect the R3 to my laptop 'line in', the laptop automaticly starts to play the sounds coming from the R3.
so, if i want to record the sounds from the R3 in FL Studio, the laptop already plays the sound, while FL Studio plays the sound again, creating a sonic mayhem!

Is there a way to stop the Pc from doing this?
i use vista, if that should be any help

Someone here can probably help you, but I'd say you get a quicker and more accurate answer over on image line's forums for fl studio.

Go to Control Panel, Sound, Click on the Recording Tab, pick the input device, Click the Properties button, see if there's another Properties Button under the Controller information and click it, see if there's a mute button in these properties.
