Midi delay

Folks I've asked at the FL site, and basically was told use current drivers (I am) and tweak the buffer underrun settings.

My issue, is that when using the Radias as a midi controller I'm getting A LOT of delay on midi input.

Does anybody else experience this when using the Radias in a similar fashion? Is there a setting on the Radias that I need to adjust?

What audio interface do you have, and what drivers are you using for it? Are you using ASIO drivers? Is it just an onboard soundcard? You'll want ASIO drivers and a good audio interface (or, at very least, the ASIO4ALL drivers with whatever soundcard you have) and you'll have to adjust buffer sizes for the audio interface (probably not done in FL Studio) to reduce your latency.

I have the Creative X-fi Elite Pro, I'm using the usb over midi, but could use a midi in as well. Everyone says to use the Creative ASIO as well, but even with the buffer up to 300 (the max), i still get glitches in the sound and have a slight delay in input still.

Guess I'll keep tinkering.

Edit: So I'm a big idiot and figured it out. basically I had the soundcard in game mode instead of audio creation. Doh!
