Can anyone that owns a PA1x Pro Elite tell me why when I import a new KMP sample file that is over 120kb in size, I get a failed to import with message: Not Enough Space.
Does this mean my Sample Ram has reached its maximum 32MB or is it the Temporary RAM in Multi Sample that needs to be cleared first?
I don't want to lose any existing Samples saved into RAM as a sound or program to be deleted.
Thanks in advance.
Not enough space

Hi,
Before you try anything do a full resource backup.
Now check your ram usage in Sound mode. (something like Record then use the bottom tabs to check free ram).
120kb is very small and you would think it would fit.
I'm sure you already know that every time you turn off your keyboard it loses everything in Ram so you must be loading some large files on bootup. Do you really need everything being loaded?
You could untick PCM autoload and re-boot so your ram is free on bootup just to try the KMP file by itself. If It works you could save this as a different set and choose which set you want each time. Or you could just load the essential parts of each set and re-save it as a combined one. You can choose parts of sets by starting with empty ram and opening the elements from each set you want and putting them in a user location. (Load, Open, Open, Open etc) and save the new set.
Sorry for rambling on here - hope it helps a bit.
