If I get the digital out device for trinity, would that significantly improve the sound quality. My sound card is a MOTU 2408mk111. DAW is cubase studio 4. What other benefits, if any are there. Thanks in advance.

The difference is really not so noticeable. But, the benefit, is knowing that all your music from start to finish is staying in the digital domain and after processing and applying edits, the quality will not degrade. It really is up to you.
I am using the Digital out of my Trinity via the ADAT, but I only use it as two channels, left and right. Works perfect for me as one of my analog outs is going bad from time to time. I need to open up my trinity and re-solder the contacts of the outputs. But luckily this doesn't affect the digital adat out. Very interesting.

My motu is currently having the analogue part replaced by a superior one so I was wandering as to the quality of the analogue part of Trinity and wether it may now become a limiting factor. Now that I am using trinity direct to amp, the sound quality is far better. There was always sound degredation when more than one midi port was open in Cubase studio 4 whis is obviosely remedied by closing it, but its was never as good as it is now I am going direct. Do you think the Midi Sport 2x2 by M-Audio could have anything to do with it or are they all the same.
