Vermona CrossFilter

Post by defrag »

I'm sitting in Seattle Windows training...

Anyway, the CrossFilter unit has been on my short list for way too long. Its pretty damned cool.
As I'm learning to use my new EMX, it seems the CrossFilter may be less necessary.

Am I right or after you have your EMX songs programmed, would the CF be one of the easier ways to sweep your songs during a dance mix instead of grabbing &/or possibly changing your EMX settings?

I really want this piece of kit but not if its functionally redundant.

iS this to replace a DJ mixer? Hook up my 1200's to? But it has no pre-amps for phono, I don't get it why have a cross fader to fade from differents on the same track, I mean I get it, but I don't see the huge point

It looks fantastic. and yes they are real analog filters... but i'd still have just a Kaoss pad or two Mini-KPs... you can do so much more with them than just filtering.

either way, its going to be easier than sweeping filters on your EMX, I think.

Cool device, but I gotta agree with X-Trade on this one. For $100 less you could grab a Kaoss Pad 3 and do most of what the guy in the video is doing, plus have yourself a sampler to play with.
