Note send on EXT2

Post by Musicadi »

In combi mode, my Triton sends note messages even though the status is set to ext2. Is this normal? How can I stop this?

In combi mode EXT or EXT2 channels do send notes even if they are not set to the global channel. that is partly what they are there for - external control.

The easiest solution would be to give it an out-of range keyzone for example C0-C#0

I take it you're using the EXT timbres to send program changes only?
