M3 Arpeggiator/ "Karma" question again..

Ok so I know now that Karma is the M3's version of an arpeggiator, but what I want to do is set the range that karma uses for the arpeggio. I know it kind of deals with where you start the initial chord, but...

ah it's hard to explain. If anyone listens to Owl City, there's a great example of what i'm looking for. In the song "Cave In", it's measure 49-64.

If anyone has the slightest clue what i'm talking about, i'd really appreciate some help!

If you tell us what RANGE you mean or what do you mean by RANGE we can
probably understand you better, what range are you talking about?

like um...

if I want an arp for a C major chord, I want it to start on C2, hit every E, G, and C, and end on C4, then come back down.

does that help any?

You can do it in any DAW Sequencer as Cubase or whatever and then
just import it as a MIDI file and few other settings in KM3.

You can do this using one of the Arp Models (the first 20 or so GEs in the factory GEs.)

For example, choose GE 0000 Arp Model 1, and then on the KARMA RTC Page, Slider 5 is named "Note Range" - this controls the number of octaves that the arpeggio will cycle through. As you move the slider, watch the info area directly above the slider and switches - it shows the KARMA Value. A Value of about 100 for this parameter is one octave, so around 200 or so should give you what you have described.
