What kind of keys is the Zuul look-alike playing?

Keyboardists for Billy on that album were Judi Dozier and Jack Waldman.
That should help. Also, the intro is entirely guitar, not a synth... It's just finger picking with a little gated reverb.

No disrespect intended here, but...
Uh... you're not talking about anything past the first 3 seconds, right? 4 sec on has GOT to be an FM synth... look at 2:14, and 2:17 in the video.. you can see her playing on keys...
Besides.. the guitar is doing that repeated riff..
Correct me if I'm wrong.. (An SOS article would be excellent)

I was talking the VERY VERY beginning. I've seen people ask how to get that gated pattern on a synth and it makes me cringe every time.
I haven't found any articles on Judi's gear. She toured with Billy before he hit it big...
