Within the internal setup-scheme (available from the menu in the PAX) you will be able to see how much ram and size HD onboard.
I do not know the exact procedure or pages (being that my PAX is at home and I'm not), but fiddle around inside the disk-menu and you'll find it.
Good luck.

See pages 276 and 277 in the User Manual (Disk Edit Mode) "Device Info"i just want to know how would i know how big the harddrive on the pa1x pro i got is
Go into SOUND mode and press "Record"and how much ram is in there if there is any
The bottom right-hand tab ("Sampling Info") will tell you exactly how much sample RAM you have installed and how much is in use. See on page 219 of the User Manual
(Note: the User Manual version I refer to is "Pa1X-252F-ENG.pdf"
Cheers

thanks alot karma, i just got my self the manual, it came with a french one when i bought this board last week didnt notice it untill i went to see it.
See the problem is now, when i connect the pa1x pro to the computer thru USB, the computer reads it fine and everything, and i can drag and drop a .wav file into the folder which i named to peter_HD, and when i go to load it in the disk mode i dont see the file after i disable the USB mode. when i go to the load tab i dont see anything, but when i go to the Copy tab i see it. Why is that

Hi again
wav files cannot be read by the PA1Xpro in Disk Mode - when you go to the "Load" tab, you will only see files that the PA1XPro is capable of loading like SETs, Styles, Sounds, Songbook etc etc...
If your "wav" files are samples and you want to build your own multi-samples then you CAN load these files in SOUND mode (you press Record to get into sampling)
Hope this helps

Yes.but can i also make my mutisample there
When I first tried this I had no experience whatsoever. I simply worked through the manual (from page 215) and everything was good - be prepared to experiment and take your time. It all works fine and the final results are well worth the effort.
The manual I am referring to is the "PA1X-252UM-ENG.pdf" (this was the last and latest manual produced by Korg for the PA1Xpro/PA1X - version 2.52)
If you do not have a copy, you can download it here:-
