I have a loop in .wav format : can i add it in seq

Can i add the loop file into the deq or to a combi or can i cenvert a .wav loop into a drum pattern ?

Best to convert it to a drum pattern. Then you can change the speed without it affecting the pitch. Here's how…..

Can I also do that with Extreme?
I get samples from Loopmasters and they have many different formats, from Acid to Wave. Is one format more suited than another to loading into Extreme ? David

Yes, you can do this on any sampler. Some have automatic functions to handle it, but in others you have to do it manually.
The concept is that you chop the long wave file into small samples. Then create a drum kit using those samples, and then drop MIDI notes in patterns to trigger the chopped samples. If you chop the sample like 1/16th of notes, then it's pretty easy adding notes in step record. But, if you chop the samples that are not quantized, it's hard to trigger them in pattern with exact same timing.
