Painting the hedious wood side strips?

Post by ZenSonic »

I am thinking about giving my M3 a more modern appearance by painting the wood side strips an indigo blue color as the wood color looks out of context with the rest of the keyboard in my opinion. Stainless steel side strips might look nice too. Has anyone done this as well? Is there a source for stainless side strips?

best wishes, Stephen

I can't picture the M3 with indigo blue side panels. It would be a very odd contrast compared to the overall theme. Black or a creamy white colour would suite better I think.

Creamy white side strips with solid white keys and face plate I can't picture. Black seems to me to be a fine, safe and neutral option.............not what I am going for at all but to each his own. They would all look better than the wood the way it is presently in my opinion.

I am quibbling! This Keyboard is FANTASTIC!
