How do you delete a Midifile Song that has a red lock attac

Post by musicmanbob »

Hi Guys, How do I get rid of the lock sign which I find attached to some Midifile Songs that I wish to delete, ? it is in Red whatever that may mean. I have read the manual, but perhaps missed it. Anyone help please. Info gratefully received. musicmanbob.

It means that the file has "Read-only" protection on it - you can remove this by highlighting the file and using the drop down menu and select "unprotect".
Then you can delete the files

Alternatively you can connect to a PC and do this as you normally would for unprotecting files.

Not sure what machine you have but this is on page 266 in the PA2XPro User Manual (Latest version) "Media Edit Mode >> Page Menu"

Cheers
