AE & DE C/R needs re-registering.
I installed and registered the AE and DE versions on my laptop soon after they were released. (New laptop, and dongle versions not installed).
I have not used them since until tonight and they all needed re-registering, and I had some message saying something along the lines of the computer system changed. Nothing has changed with the laptop.
Has anyone else had this problem? I hope this doesn't keep occurring.

This usually happens if something in your networking configuration changes.
For example, I registered my copy with my wireless network enabled. Next time I tried to use it I had the wireless disabled and Legacy required re-authorising. There was no problem with the re-authorisation, I simply used another computer to get the authorisation code and typed it in by hand.
Interestingly there was no problem when I tried to use Legacy with the wireless re-enabled.

It is a new laptop I installed them on last month, I delayed installing the C/R versions until I had it set up as I wanted. I had not installed the dongle versions on this laptop.Etaoin wrote:You said you purchased the AE soon after it was released, so that must be in 2004. Are you sure absolutely nothing has changed in those 5 years? No OS updates, no driver updates, nothing?Goseba wrote:Nothing had changed on the laptop, wireless was enabled the whole time.
