Can anybody help me in re-calibrating the slider on the KP3?
G'day guys
I have a KP3 that I've purchased off ebay a while ago. Unfortunatley recently the slider has messed up and when I push it up full it does not register it as the max level.
This means all my sample playback is at a low volume.
I plugged it in as a MIDI controller for a software slider to test it and found the issue...
When at minimum the slider is at zero, as I push it up it increases but stops about two thirds of the way up, and the software slider shows the value glitching up and down slightly.
Basically, as I have ordered it off ebay I'm looking at having to find/pay someone to fix it... Is there any way I can re-calibrate the slider so that its always on it's max level, or something like that?

Sounds like a broken potentiometer to me, if it works normally two thirds of the way and then messes up. Maybe you should try to get the slider replaced somewhere.
Of course if there is some kind of calibration procedure you could calibrate it to the range that is working well (so that maximum level would be the slider 2/3 way up), but I don't know if you can do that with the KP3.
