OASYS sounds in Triton Classic .pcg format ???

Post by chris »

Hi there,

Any idea if it is now possible to convert Korg OASYS sounds to standard Triton Classic .pcg format? Is there any software existing?

Same for Korg Triton Extreme to Triton Classic?

Best regards,
Chris

Triton Extreme PCGs should work out of the box in the Triton Classic. The only issue you'll have is if the program refers to multisamples that aren't part of the Triton Classic's ROM.

An automatic conversion from OASYS to Triton isn't going to work. The OASYS has a number of ways to produce sounds that the Triton can't handle.
Keyboard Rig: Korg Kronos, Moog Sub 37, Waldorf Blofeld Module, Neo Instruments Ventilator II, Moog MiniFooger Delay, Strymon BigSky, Roland KC-150, Mackie 802-VLZ4 Mixer
