A little review now that I've owned the device for a while:
Overall I think that the KOPro is a great device, very sturdy, looks nice and is well build. I like most of the sounds, some of them have pretty wild modulations, but there are lots of sounds and I always find something new when I turn the device on. Also the interface is very intuitive and is great for jamming and coming up with new ideas. I also like the external inputs, because it's quite hard to play anything with chords with the KOPro.
What I don't like about this is device (like everyone else) the lack of loop bouncing and also there could be more drum patterns. The patterns it has are great, but there could always be more.
I was a supporter of the gate arp idea before I got to play with the device, but now that I've used it a while, I find it quite limited. It's great if you use even divisions and play with the gate time, it can make some pretty cool effects, but its not very versatile (or maybe I should just practice more...). I think that it would be great to have the original patterns present by some key combination. But I find I can do pretty solid patterns just by tapping the screen, as with the Digitalk in my video

Gate arp is only used on the bass.
Overall I think it was worth the money, I'm having so much fun jamming and I'm also looking forward for using this live and in the studio
Here's a video I recorded, as I promised some sound clips:

About the midi sync, it works well as a master clock, but I'm yet to test syncing it to a daw, as my midi cable is missing at the moment
