Man, get a working keyboard! they're like, £5 or even less.

Or just keep an 'o' in your clipboard. Here's one for you to copy and paste:

Haha he does have a point :)

Thanks for posting tho' K0va5 or Kovas!? I'm inspired to drop down to the lower BPM's as I'm feeling much more confident in playing certain things in length these days :)

Forget them, k0va5! The lack of 'o' gives your posts individuality and not to mention that it cracks me up every time.

As for the actual, intended topic of the thread, I had tried that sort of thing myself with the patterns and stuff and can work very well. It's a nice little bonus to be able to use the gate arp on the preset patterns. KInd of like repatterning the patterns.
And even just setting at a particular point (say .333 or .062) and pressing the button to turn it on at particular times is quite a simple but effective method.

just fooled around with some new mixes and yes having the BMP set low gives more freedom. But then again I have been doing this sort of thing for while now. Having the arp at different times and speeds really helps to break apart those pre-created patterns.

Translation:
k0va5 wrote:to transform many of the 4x4 patterns on the kpro to a more broken beat kindasound... set your gate to .75..

that retriggers the kick drum later in the pattern, and hey presto.. youve got yourself a broken beat

try pattern 161..start above bank c.. 3/4 of the way down the touchpad for the kickdrum

then, move your finger up and over to above bank D for the snare.

ive been doing it at 70bpm for a nice dubstep feel

English is written in the English_alphabet. If you can find the letter 0 (Zero) in there then I humbly apologize. Last I checked, feei isn't a word in any English dictionary either.

It's interesting that you felt the need to specify the 0 was a zero and not an o. :P
Nothing to do with the fact that they can pass for each other in context...

Also, feei may not be a word in any English dictionary but not all words are.
And anyway, it was obviously a typo. Please feel free to correct all other instances in this forum and the internet. It would be well worth your effort. Enjoy. :)

I only made the note because in the context of my sentence, if I were specifying an actual letter, it would be capitalized. In this case, it could actually be confused with the letter O. In k0va5's posts, the context is all lower case letters, it is clear he is typing a zero.

Well you can just go flantaff yourself then.

I won't correct they typo's, but I will persist in translating any new posts by k0va5 for the benefit of everyone that also suffers from headaches while attempting to read them.

I think you should see a doctor if reading gives you a headache. :P

And I think you misunderstand the concept of 'context'... But never mind. Translate away. My original post was typed with my tongue in my cheek. As are most non-Korg comments of mine on here.

grammer cop / a feel

Post by Mad Trucker »

Thanks grammar cops for teaching me so much about my KOP. You guys are really sending me back to the SP forum, where they ironically happen to have better Kaoos tips too...and there it's a footnote.

On the Sp forum people post stylish images and witty jokes and mess like that. Ya'll don't sound like cool skaters or graph artists; ya'll sound more like crabby librarians.
