there are no fx on the the 185 inbuilt sounds.. you can use fx on the patterns 185-200 on external sounds

i was really worried about this before i bought the kpro.. but in actual fact, the kpro is amazingly good.. and you dont miss the fx

each sound has a certain fc .. cutoff.. delay.. resonance..distortian whatever.. on the Y axis.. it works really well
gear:

Iaptop running fruity I00ps & abeIt0n6, T0rq
Pad Kontrol
Technics 1210's (2) Mackie D2
Maudi0 axi0m 25
Maudi0 Trigger finger
R0Iand TDV6 drums
KaossiIat0r
KaossiIat0r Pro
KP3

Audio-pitch (pitch shifter) X = pitch; Y = Dry/wet
Audio-grain (grain shifter) X = cycle speed; Y = length
Audio-delay (delay) X = delay time; Y = delay depth
Audio-filter (filter) X = Low pass, high pass Y = cutoff
Audio-looper (DJ looper) X = looper; Y = nothing

But, as k0va5 said, you can only use these on the incoming external signal and not on the loops after they're recorded like you can on a KP3.

Yes, however the external source sounds as you're recording will be how it is recorded into the bank.
Unless you have some signal processor or effects unit after the KPro. Then what you hear will be different.
But I don't think that is the case here.
