1. is there a way to program a combination to change its drum beat as its played as is. There seems to be one assigned pattern and it would be nice to be able to have other drum patterns in the combi, how is this done?

2. in program mode it can be done at the drum pattern page
but you still have to rotate the dial till you find your pattern
you like

3. isnt there any manipulation you can have with drum patterns
if you like a COMBI but just want to vary the drum pattern on every 4 th measure not have the same monotonous pattern without fills intros outros>

No, but have you looking into using KARMA instead of the Drum Track for this ?

If you go down that route then you can just use KARMA Scenes to switch to different variations do the patterns produced.

It's the same in COMBI mode, that's why I suggest looking at KARMA.

That said, in GLOBAL mode you can assign “Value Increase” to a foot switch, so that might allow you to increase the selected value from a foot switch while having two hands on the keyboard playing.

This is purely just an idea I've just thought up out of nowhere, so you will have to go and try this yourself to verify it actually works.

I don't recommend it, I recommend using KARMA, but if you really want to work the system the way your talking, it's something for you to try atleast.

As a KARMA anything is possible. As a straight up drum track your limited to the pattern.
