When I took delivery of my KO-PRO, I set the note range to one octave and scale to Ionian, only to find the eight notes in the scale did not line up to the squares on the pad. This made playing a melody with any degree of accuracy difficult, if not impossible.

I contacted Korg tech support who gave me the following instructions.

Turn on the device while holding down the 7,8, and REC buttons.

Four squares will appear in the bottom left of the XY pad. Use a stylus to point to the centre of the square.

The four squares will appear at the top left. Repeat the procedure for all four corners. Then reboot the device.

THIS DOES NOT WORK.

What you need to do is point your stylus at the corner of the pad itself.

Then, voila, sorted.

I don't know if it is my KO-PRO which has a fault or it applies to all devices. I'd be interested to find out if other users have the same problem. If so, I hope this helps.

huh? which corner?

The corner nearest to the four squares.

Hmmmmm Then the maximum volume I could get in Loop Level mode was 7 out of 8.
I tried it again using the far extremes of Left, Right and Bottom but only to the "centre" (top of the 7th level) for the top.
This corrected the volume element while preserving the Left-Right even scaling.
I have not tested it with a 2 note (XY) patch yet.

F*ck that then.. im leaving it how it come shipped.. works fine for me
